Sexuality & Gender
One of my favorite aspects of psychotherapy is helping people uncover parts of themselves they did not know existed and feel more connected to their true selves. Often times this involves taking a look at what their own wants/desires are, separate from the heteronormative blueprint we are all given at birth. Sex, sexuality, and gender are topics that are simultaneously invisible in society and infused into everything. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
